Skylight domes
Skylight domes are taking a considerable part in the modern architecture. Skylight domes are made from Acrylic – (PMMA) or polycarbonate sheets in transparent or opal color. They are available in 1, 2, 3 or 4- skinned versions.

Acrylic skins are interchangeable with polycarbonate skins, with no change in thermal insulation performance. Upper skins are interchangeable with heatstop skins, without any change in thermal insulation.
Acrylic skylight domes (AC)
1- to 5- glazed domes made from solid acrylic.
Polycarbonate skylight domes (PC)
Skylight domes with the outside sheet made from Polycarbonate, have very high impact strength and are practically unbreakable. The impact strength by the acrylic sheets is 10x higher meanwhile by the polycarbonate sheets is 250x higher as by normal glass with the same thickness.
Heatstop skylight domes (IRR)
Heatstop® sheets are used in combination with standard acrylic sheets. The outside sheet is made from Heatstop®, inside sheets are made from standard opal or transparent acrylic sheets. The incoming sun energy can be reduced by half.
Opening systems
ROOF HATCH
manual, opening angle up to 90°.
VENTILATION
Electric opening (230VAC). Standard opening height: 300mm. In combination with wind and rain sensor, the domes automatically close in the event of rain or strong winds.

NATURAL SMOKE AND HEAT EXTRACTION
Automatic opening according to the EN 12101-2:2003 (NSHEV):
- mechanism with pneumatic cylinder CO2
- mechanism with electric spindle actuator 24/48V
- control panels with emergency batteries (up to 72h)
Polyester upstands
They are made of glass-fibre reinforced polyester resin (GRP). Inside is fulfilled with the polyurethane foam which is used as a thermal insulation. Standard heights are 30 and 50 cm. On request also other heights are available.
Metal upstands
They are made of galvanized metal sheets and can be painted to RAL 9002 or other colors. Standard heights are 30 and 50 cm. On request also other heights are available.
Fall-through protection
Safety nets for fixed and opening domes. They can be galvanized or/and colored to RAL.
Opening frames
Aluminium opening frames.
